The United Association dates back to the year 1889. Since then, no other organization has served the training needs of the piping industry like the United Association. For over a century, the UA has been training the most highly-qualified workers in the United States and Canada. Over the past several decades, the United Association's training programs have produced a stable, skilled workforce responsible for building and maintaining piping systems in the various industrial and residential facilities that make up the North American landscape. Paul Scarlett of the Local 131 Retirees Association is connected with the Aviation Museum of NH, located at the Manchester Airport. He has frequently arranged speakers affiliated with the museum for the monthly Retirees meetings. The NHAHS has events year round that are open to the public. The Local 131 Retirees' Association will be having a special guest speaker at their monthly meeting, March 09, 2010.
An Officer from the Hooksett Police Department will be present to speak and answer questions on issues that are of concern to our retirees.
ALL LU131 members are encouraged to attend.
