The Local Union 131 Scholarship Reimbursement Program is available to all members in good standing and to the dependents of journeyman members in good standing.  It is nontraditional, in that it is NOT an up-front award. Rather it is a "reimbursement" plan.  Therefore, applicants must have ALREADY completed, passed and paid for some portion of an approved course of studyin the 12 months prior to the application date.

Each year, in April, the Scholarship Committee reviews the program and opens up the application period.  The application period closes on June 30th.  The value of the award is determined by the number of applicants and the amount of funds collected during the prior 12 month period.
